You are the expert in yourself. My role is to listen, challenge, offer perspective and ask the questions you haven’t thought of yet.
Grounded in values. Guided by what matters.
Values provide a foundation for understanding what matters to us — and a compass when the way forward isn't clear.
They can help us recognise what still fits, what has changed and what we're ready to leave behind.
For me, values aren't a checklist or something to put on a wall. They are part of how we make sense of ourselves, our choices and the direction we want to take.
Patrwm is grounded in curiosity, compassion, collaboration, reflection and integrity.
About Gian
I'm a coach, facilitator and experienced senior leader with more than 25 years' experience across higher education, the voluntary sector and the arts.
Much of my career has been spent working where things are complex, where there isn't an obvious answer, and where people are trying to find a way forward while something around them is changing.
I've led teams, developed services, supported organisational change and worked with people facing significant transitions. Those experiences have shaped how I coach: with curiosity, honesty and compassion, and with a willingness to ask the questions that might shift the way you see things.
Alongside my leadership experience, I hold a Master's degree in Transformative Practice, am a qualified mediator and am currently completing postgraduate study in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.
But qualifications only tell part of the story.
Experienced enough to challenge. Curious enough to listen.
I don't have all the answers — and I don't think I should.
My job is to create the conditions for you to think, explore and make sense of what's happening. Sometimes that means gentle encouragement. Sometimes it means a challenge and a different perspective to spark new understanding.
The decisions and direction remain yours.
